Our Story

Chloe took the leap in 2016.
We haven't stopped growing since.

Dressed to the Canines began in 2014 as a mobile service around Melbourne's Bayside. In 2016, Chloe bought the business and threw herself into training, breed styles, skin and coat care, pet first aid, natural remedies, and creative grooming.

By October 2021, the mobile van had outgrown itself. We moved into our permanent home in Bentleigh East, the space we needed to help more fluffy friends, and to offer the larger range of therapeutic spa treatments we're known for.

For Dogs

Dog grooming that doesn't feel like a chore.

From a quick bath for short-coated breeds to a full designer groom on a Poodle, every service includes double shampoo, blueberry facial, warm blow dry, brush out, paw-dicure and cologne. Puppy Intros from 10 days post-vaccination.

Four dedicated cat services, from short-hair brush-outs at $90 to a full comb clip at $160. Every appointment starts with a calming massage and uses cat-specific products. Soft Paws nail caps available.

Semi-permanent colour, safely done.

Dog and cat specific dyes that fade out over 6–12 washes. Ears, feet, or tail, one, two, or all three. Perfect for a special event or everyday glam.

We don't do painful de-matting. We don't over-groom senior pets. We won't prioritise a perfect haircut over a scared or uncomfortable pet. The beauty of hair is that it will always grow back.

We use the finest naturally-based, professional-standard shampoos and conditioners, and back them with all-natural wellness treatments: tea rinses, scrubs, soaks, and masques. Every product we stock is Australian made or grown, pet safe, and environmentally friendly.
